Armand Mazie

Started taking piano lessons at age 7. When my Mom got a parlor organ, I started playing that too. I soon realized that when I played minor chords, it somehow made me feel better when I was down or kind of sad---I had discovered the blues! -- and have been listening to it and playing it ever since. I am a veteran of the San Francisco Blues Festival, 1974 with the blues violinist, L.C.'Good Rockin' Robinson, I've played with Bo Diddley, E.C Scott, Chipito's Allstars and a lot of other great musicians in the Bay Area music scene.
